WEC Powder Coating Services

Subcontract Powder Coating Services
WEC Powder Coating provide subcontract powder coating services nationwide.
To complement our machining services, WEC Powder Coating has been launched as a way of furthering the Group's ambitions of becoming a true one-stop-shop.

The £500,000 investment in the latest state-of-the-art powder coating technology means we are able to offer a high-end powder coating service to our extensive customer list. These include customers across a wide range of industries including rail, automotive, nuclear, aerospace and more.

The new in-house powder coating capability significantly reduces lead times for those who require a powder coating service, as the need to outsource is no longer an issue. The powder coating system boasts two automatic reciprocators with a 90% powder recovery system and a 4 stage in-line pre-treatment plant. The recovery system ensures the process is extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

The range of colours available is virtually unlimited, and we specialise in the powder coating of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

The Benefits of Powder Coating

There are many benefits of powder coating, including the fact that powder coated surfaces are more resistant to wear and tear such as chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes, meaning it's extremely durable. The process is also more environmentally friendly than other methods, as virtually no pollutants are released into the air.
