WEC Machining manufactures precision machined components, light fabrications and assemblies to customer specifications utilising the latest in CNC machining technology. We have eight CNC milling machines, including one large (3000mmx1250mmx1500mm), one CNC mill/turn machine, 13 CNC turning machines and a wide range of conventional machining machines.
WEC Machining offers quality precision engineering services including CNC Machining, Light Fabrication and Sheet Metalwork. As part of the WEC Group, WEC Machining also benefits from in-house Laser Cutting, Laser Tube Cutting, Large Fabrication and Coded Welding.
Thanks to substantial investments in the latest CNC Machining equipment, Hi-Spec CNC and Nutter Aircrafts are able to offer CNC milling up to 3 metres length and CNC Turning up to 1.5 metre length.
WEC Machining also design and manufacture a range of workshop machinery including the renowned Clarendon Presses together with a wide range of Belt Sanders, Grinders and Polishers.
Hi-Spec Machinery are manufacturers of various heavy duty abrasive machines and lever presses for both the Industrial and Educational sectors.

Following substantial investment in new CNC machinery, WEC Machining is able to offer a wide range of sub-contract multi axis CNC machining services.
Continuing investment in the latest technology provides customers with a Vertical CNC Milling capability up to three metres in length together with CNC Horizontal Pallet loaders for cost-effective batch manufacturing. CNC lathes with both driven tooling and sub-spindle options provide turning capacity up to 1.5 metres in length.
Comprising of 2 state-of-the-art precision engineering workshops, Hi-Spec CNC and Nutter Aircrafts, WEC Machining is able to handle small and large CNC machining requirements for our customers all over the UK on a competitive lead time.
Complimented by a CAD/CAM system to minimize programming and downtime, the shopfloor can provide a rapid response to customer's requirements.
In addition to machined components the division also produces sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies using a range of forming and welding techniques. Using profiles produced by the laser cutting division, materials include mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Our Hi-Spec Machinery division has also been involved in the manufacture of quality workshop machinery for over 40 years. Original called Precision Engineers Rishton, we are the original manufacturers of the renowned Clarendon Presses as well as a wide range of industrial and educational grinders, polishers, bandfacers, and dust extraction units.
Complimenting all aspects of component and sub-assembly manufacture, WEC Machining has a comprehensive assembly facility providing mechanical, electromechanical and hydromechanical assemblies.
These range from simple hinge assemblies through to PLC controlled hydraulically actuated Patient Tail Lifts and ramps for front-line ambulances which are manufactured by our Hi-Spec Tail Lifts division.
