In addition to our comprehensive range of CNC machining services, WEC Machining Ltd also specialises in sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies using a range of forming and welding techniques. Using profiles produced by our laser cutting division, materials include mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Fabrication and Sheet Metalwork Capacity:
Traditional light fabrication and sheet metal work projects undertaken by WEC Machining include CCTV cabinets, machine tools, educational machinery (Clarendon by WEC), access ramps and wheelchair motorcycles. We also benefit from substantial experience supplying fabricated assemblies to the automotive and motorsport industries.
Thanks to recent acquisitions, we now have an AMADA Punch as well multiple state-of-the-art press brakes, resulting in an increased range of services on offer:

Assembly and Finishing Capacity:
In addition to our light fabrications and sheet metal capabilities, WEC Machining also offers a comprehensive assembly facility providing mechanical, electromechanical, and hydro-mechanical assemblies. These range from simple hinge assemblies through to PLC controlled, hydraulically actuated, patient lifts manufactured by our tail lift division for front line ambulances.
In order to offer our customers with a one-stop-shop service, we also provide metal finishing services including surface grinding, deburring, polishing, powder coating and wet painting to name but a few. We have six welding bays at their disposition, allowing the company to undertake batch work on short lead times. Our welders are accredited to ASME VIII and ASME IX and pride themselves on the quality of their craftsmanship.
