Nuclear Materials and Grades We Machine

Nuclear precision engineered components are often produced from materials selected for corrosion resistance, strength, stability, wear resistance and long-term performance. Typical nuclear sector materials include:

304, 316, 321, 17-4PH and other stainless grades for corrosion-resistant nuclear components, housings, brackets, plates and fittings.

Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 for high-strength, corrosion-resistant components used in demanding environments.

EN8, EN19T, EN24T, S275, S355 and other structural or engineering steels for heavy-duty parts, machined frames, blocks and mechanical assemblies.

Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel and other nickel-based alloys for specialist nuclear applications requiring high corrosion resistance, heat resistance or long-term material performance.

Aluminium, bronze and other non-ferrous materials for selected nuclear tooling, fixtures, housings and support components.

PEEK, PTFE, acetal and other polymers for specialist components requiring insulation, chemical resistance or low friction.
