Sliding Head Turning

WEC Machining Ltd provide subcontract Sliding Head Turning services to customers in a wide range of industries.

We have 4 state-of-the-art sliding head turning lathes available in-house with 3 metre bar feed, enabling us to machine large batches of small turned parts at competitive prices.

Thanks to continuous investments industry-leading technology, we have the capability to turn parts up to 64mm diameter on our Citizen sliding head lathes.

CNC Milling & Turning

To complement our sliding head turning capabilities, we also have CNC milling capability of up to 11.5 metres in length as well CNC turning capacity of up to 3.8m in length, 950mm diameter.

Operating from a purpose built 33,000 sq. ft. production facility in Blackburn, Lancashire, we have over 35 CNC machining centres and lathes in-house.

To demonstrate our commitment to quality, we are also AS9100 accredited and manufacture precision machined components and assemblies to customer specifications.
