We have made substantial investments in the latest large machining technology as well as a highly-skilled workforce to ensure the service we provide is of the highest quality.
To complement our CNC machining and precision engineering services, we also provide large and heavy machined components to a broad range of industries including Nuclear, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Marine.WEC Large Machining is able to carry out entire projects in-house, taking them right through from the initial consultation to the machining and inspection of the completed product.
Our large milling capacity includes our two Correa Axia machine's with capability of up to 12.5m x 5m x 3m and a Asquith Butler machining cell with the capability of up to 8 metres in length.
We have also made investments in large capacity lathes to enable us to offer specialist capabilities to our customers. Working alongside 14 other CNC lathes mostly with Driven Tooling and two smaller Integrex, our Hankook Protec 9NC CNC lathe has the capability of turning parts of up to 920mm diameter x 4000mm length, ideal for industries such as Oil & Gas and Defence.
