WEC Group Ltd were awarded 'Business of the Year 2009' sponsored by The Lancashire Evening Telegraph. At an awards evening held at Ewood Park, the Group was awarded the much coveted main prize beating off 117 other entries for the title.
WEC Group has grown considerably over the past five years and now employs over 250 people at its sites across the North West. They are also proud stand sponsors of their local football club; Blackburn Rovers.
The Group has worked hard to raise its profile in the local area, bringing in new business as well as contributing to the local community. The Group sponsored the local music festival in 2008 and regularly donate items such as bus shelters, street architecture, benches, bridges etc.
