WEC Group Ltd, a Darwen based engineering company has acquired Liverpool-based laser cutting company 5750 Components Ltd which was established nearly 15 years ago as one of the first laser cutting companies in the UK and employs 20 staff.
Due for completion in the coming months, a new site will house the Laser Engineering division of the Company and will enable the other divisions of the Group to expand into the existing facilities.
A positive move for the North West, the strategic partnership between WEC Group and 5750 Components will assist in expanding the service offering of both companies within their own regions, UK and Internationally.
